To keep the moment alive, we created the Verse Challenge, allowing fans to add their own spin to the iconic tune.
Our Approach
We launched the Verse Challenge on TikTok, encouraging the community to create their own lyrics to Bas’ flute song. By leveraging TikTok’s duet feature, users organically spread the content through their circles, keeping the viral moment alive.
Our Process
The use of the native TikTok duetting feature made it simple and recognizable for the community to sing and play along to our content. Bas' original song continued to flood the platform and when people grew tired of the song, we created comedic sketches to capture that feeling we know all-too-well.
Results
TikTok users could easily duet with Bas’ original song, adding their personal touch. As the song began to reach content fatigue, we introduced comedic sketches to poke fun at the overexposure, keeping the campaign fresh and engaging. The campaign garnered 4 million views, 340 duets, and over 150K engagements. By tapping into the community’s creativity and playing with content fatigue, we created a highly successful and memorable social campaign.
