Using Snapchat and machine learning, Jeep Code allowed users to identify models, learn about specs, pricing, and availability — creating a new way to shop for cars.
Our Approach
Younger car buyers were increasingly choosing tech-driven experiences, but Jeep wasn’t connecting with them. To bridge this gap, we turned Jeep’s recognizable grille into a scannable barcode on Snapchat, blending the physical and digital for an integrated shopping experience.
Our Process
Jeep Code uses advanced AI and machine learning to analyze thousands of images of Jeep grilles. By simply scanning a grille via Snapchat, users instantly receive detailed information about the car — everything from specs to pricing to local availability - all without stepping into a dealership.
The Results
Jeep Code successfully merged the physical and digital retail experiences, creating a pressure-free car-buying journey that resonated with tech-savvy Gen Z and Millennials.
The campaign positioned Jeep as a brand that embraces innovation, aligning with the preferences of a new generation of car buyers. The results were great:
